A Response to God, who is a God of Purpose

I got saved in a meeting that was for the furtherance of the gospel. By the Lord's mercy and preservation I was supplied spiritually by the ministry of Watchman Nee and Witness Lee in the local churches after I got saved. By the ministry of Witness Lee, I saw that God's salvation does not stop at our regeneration. This salvation of God is complete. The purpose of God's salvation is for us to have a share in His life and nature and for us to live out the attributes of God (love, light, holiness, and righteousness) by Christ so that God can have His expression enlarged and expanded.

Regeneration is the initial step in God's complete salvation. It enabled me to partake of all the riches of God. After that I needed to go further to enjoy the riches of God. As the parable in Luke 15 indicates, our Father God prepared everything for me. When I came back to the Father's bosom, I inherited all the riches in the Father's house as my enjoyment.

I was greatly helped in the local church through the ministering of the Word of God by Witness Lee. Lately, in my time of prayer and reading the word, I was filled with thanksgiving and praise to the Lord. Our God is a God full of life and of purpose. Thank God for loving us so much. This divine purpose is something of His will and delight.
